I'm only umpteen years too late. Josef wrote: the only time I ever got propositioned by a bloke was in, of all places, the Horseshoe. There was very briefly in the early 80's a bar on broomielaw - directly opposite where the Riverboat Casino is now - can't remember the name. Glad to see that people have such good memories!

But where are all the women? I'd be interested to know where gay women socialised years ago. Most of my lesbian friends don't go out in Glasgow because it's so dire nowadays.

When i mentioned this to a workmate he said "Thats a gay bar". This was then "confirmed" by a few others. As its not a gay bar where did this rumour start ,anyone?
