The big gay of punch went forth in the new land and multiplied, begetting a whole host of other, less mighty drinks. Before the cocktail, there was the slings or the juleps or anything else you wanted to call a glass of beverage alcohol with a little sugar in it. These are all simple variations on classic cocktails designed to showcase specific spirits, vermouths and liqueurs that we find particularly exquisite.

Grey Goose La Poire, St. Each decanter takes four generations of cellar masters over one hundred years to craft. A fireworks of aromas. Floral, spice, fruit, wood and nut dimensions, Louis XIII has unparalleled complexity and an extremely long finish of up to one hour. Originally, Scotch whisky was a malt whisky. It is big, soupy, strong and smoky from the peat fueled harbors used to dry the malt.

The lush and fertile valley of river Spey is known for its elegance, complexity and often a refined smokiness. Lowland single malts are said to be the most accessible whiskies, light in body and flavor, but complex and herbal. Fertile soil, extensive peat bogs and wonderful salt water, mixed with sea breezes and traditional distilling processes create this unique single malt scotch.

These scotches tend to exhibit a briny flavor, influences by their maritime locations and are full bodied and spicy. Campbeltown single malts bar peated malt and the resulting whiskies have a light smoky flavor mixed with some maltiness and sweetness. Stewart, the legendary Malt Master, began his illustrious career at the distillery. With only 71 bottles yielded globally, this whisky represents a pinnacle of rarity and craftsmanship.
